The Future of Health Care

The future of health care in America is in jeopardy. While we can complain about the system, the best doctors, medical schools, technology, and drugs comes from here. When the government turns it into a money-losing utility, where will we go?

Indeed. And what’s the rush? The Democrats have a well intentioned but poorly thought out plan which is most likely to do far more harm than good. And I wonder: does President Obama really want the decline of American health care to be his legacy? This shouldn’t be a partisan issue and our health care shouldn’t be subjected to some bizarre progressive ideology. At the very least, politicians should look at how similar plans have worked out elsewhere. I think we are seeing a triumph of emotion over reason – and we’ll pay the price.
