Google included me in their gradual roll-out of Google Buzz, so I’ve been playing with it. First, you should know that I’m no fan of Facebook, so the Facebook-like attributes of Google Buzz don’t impress me. However, Google Buzz is nicely integrated with Google Profiles and Google Reader, which makes for some powerful stuff. A Google Profile makes for a decent low-rent home page and blog. It’s integration with Google Reader really makes it easy to “read comment and share”, a style of blogging that I tend to use a lot. Plus Google Buzz allows the inclusion of arbitrary URLs and photos. I still have many more things to try, but I see serious potential here. While I’m exploring, you can check out my profile.
