I’ve seen Congress do a lot of dumb things, but this has to be near the top of the list. What’s it mean? Well, if you buy a wireless router and can’t be bothered with (or don’t know how to go about) configuring encryption, you could be liable for a $150,000 fine if your neighbor taps your signal and downloads the wrong kinds of pictures. Would someone bring these guys to the 21st century? No wonder they’re so unpopular!
